I build |

Full-stack software engineer in Cheongju, South Korea, with a decade of production software behind me: community platforms, self-service kiosks that take real payments, large-scale web automation, and blockchain infrastructure. I came from Cameroon to Korea in 2012, and I build things end to end and keep them running.

01 · Who I am

About me

I grew up in Cameroon taking apart computers, and in 2012 I moved to South Korea on a full scholarship to study Computer System Engineering. I have been here ever since, building software, raising a family of products, and becoming fluent in Korean along the way.

Since 2016 I have been a software engineer at BONSYS Co., Ltd. in Cheongju, where I design and ship the systems you walk past every day in Korea: touchscreen kiosks in district offices, digital signage fleets in elevators and lobbies, attendance terminals, and ticketing kiosks that take real card payments. My code runs unattended, 24/7, in government buildings. It has to work.

Outside the day job I run MatanVerse, my own product studio. Its flagship is waegook.com, a community marketplace for foreigners in Korea, alongside a rewards platform, an e-commerce analytics service, and Beehive, a blockchain validator operation. I built the tech behind CAMASKO, the Cameroonian Association in South Korea, and I am a founding member of KAFXA, the Korea-Africa Excellence Awards, where I also built and run the platform. Along the way I taught English to 100+ students.

"I don't just write code. I own it: backend, frontend, mobile app, the server it runs on, the update pipeline that keeps it fresh, and the alarm bot that wakes me when it breaks."

What I'm best at

  • End-to-end ownership: client, API, DB, deploy, monitoring
  • Hardware meets web: kiosks, card terminals, printers, sensors
  • Production web platforms with real users and real money
  • Resilient large-scale web automation and data pipelines

Experience timeline

2016 – Present

Software Engineer · BONSYS Co., Ltd.

Cheongju, South Korea

I design, build and field-maintain self-service systems for Korean government and enterprise clients: DID signage fleets for the Sangdang-gu and Seowon-gu district offices (including elevator and video-wall displays), city-council touchscreen kiosks on Oracle, RFID attendance terminals, membership sign-up kiosks, and the KidSafety admission-ticketing kiosk with integrated KSNET card payment, cash receipts and thermal ticket printing. I also built the auto-update and watchdog pipelines that keep the whole fleet alive unattended.

Founder & Engineer · MatanVerse

Product studio, Korea

I solo-built and operate a family of live products: waegook.com (community marketplace and life platform for foreigners in Korea, 9-language i18n, PWA), sosohan.kr (mission and reward platform with a payout pipeline), cheatcode.kr (Naver Shopping market-intelligence SaaS fed by my own crawler engines), and Beehive, a Cosmos-ecosystem validator operation with a non-custodial wallet app and 24/7 monitoring bots. Runs on AWS Lightsail and Cloudflare plus a Windows/Apache origin I administer myself.
